Jendra Jarnagin on "The Green Behind the Screen" Panel at Sundance

In January, Local 600 Director of Photography and Eastern Region Sustainability Committee Chair Jendra Jarnagin joined a panel at the Sundance Film Festival called “The Green Behind the Screen: Sustainable Production in Action.” Part of the Impact Lounge, a curated event space designed for connection and collaboration, Jendra joined other industry leaders to speak about how the entertainment industry is embracing sustainable production practices, clean energy, materials circularity, and other ways to decrease our carbon footprint without compromising creativity.

Michael Kaliski, Founder and CEO of Good Planet Innovation, moderated the panel. Speakers also included Sam Luu and Hillary Cohen, Co-Founders of Every Day Action. Sheila Morovati, CEO and President of Habits of Waste, and Jillian Stein, a Production Sustainability Advisor, were also panelists.
