SXSW launches new sustainability award called Green Lens Award

On March 18, 2026, SXSW will honor a film or television show that embodies climate storytelling with the Green Lens Award. The project needs to show the human experience of living through climate change or show strategies for living in a more sustainable future. A committee has been created by the Sustainable Entertainment Alliance and the SXSW Film and TV Festival to judge the Award.
