LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4, 2016 — Jeffrey Katzenberg, Chairman of DreamWorks New Media, will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 54th Annual International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) Publicists Awards Luncheon to be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 24, 2017.

Nanci Ryder, founding partner of B|W|R Public Relations, will receive the President's Award at the International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) Publicists Awards Luncheon to be held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on February 24, 2017.

Ryan Murphy, one of television's busiest and most successful writers/directors/producers, will be named Television Showman of the Year at the 54th Annual International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) Publicists Awards honoring excellence in publicity and promotion for motion pictures and television programs, to be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday, February 24.

The first ballot for the Publicist Awards were emailed on November 16, 2016. Please note that voting is being done online through Survey Monkey. Ballots are due on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 by 5:00 PM PT.

The International Cinematographers Guild Scholarship Fund is offering ten $4,000.00 educational grants for members, and children, step-children, grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and dependents of members where legal guardianship applies (collectively referred to as “Children“) of International Cinematographers Guild members in good standing, or Children of deceased members (whose passing was within one year of November 1, 2016).

The IATSE recently announced that it has reached a new three-year agreement with producers of Low-Budget Theatrical projects.

The "ICG Safety" App now allows you to notify the Local of an on-set safety issue right from your mobile device! Other upgrades include a Safety FAQs section, new safety bulletins and a checklist of what to do in the event of an on-set accident. 

The Publicist Awards Committee will be selecting nominees for the Maxwell Weinberg Publicists Showmanship Award for Television on Thursday, November 10, 2016.
