The International Cinematographers Guild Scholarship Fund is offering ten $4,000.00 educational grants for members, and children, step-children, grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and dependents of members where legal guardianship applies (collectively referred to as "Children") of International Cinematographers Guild members in good standing, or children of deceased members (whose passing was within one year of November 1, 2015).

Rebecca Rhine has been named the new National Executive Director of the 7,700-member International Cinematographers Guild (IATSE local 600) succeeding Bruce Doering effective December 1, it was announced yesterday by Guild President Steven Poster during the Guild's National Executive Board held in Century City.
The 13 local unions representing over 43,000 members of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts (IATSE) working in motion picture and television production have ratified the new Producer-IATSE Basic Agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP).
An annual internship and training program has been established in honor of Sarah Jones, the 27-year-old camera assistant who was killed last year in Georgia on the set of Midnight Rider.
