"Deadpool" and "This is Us" Publicity Campaigns Wins Top Honors at the 54th Annual ICG Publicists Awards

Local 600 congratulates our members and their crews nominated at this year’s Academy Awards.

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 18, 2017 — The International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) has announced nominees for the 54th Annual ICG Publicists Awards Luncheon to be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday, February 24, 2017.

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 12, 2017 —Oscar® winner Denzel Washington will be named Motion Picture Showman of the Year at the 54th Annual International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) Publicists Awards in recognition of his remarkable career achievements, including producing, directing and starring in Fences, a major contender in this year’s Oscar race. The awards will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday, February 24.

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4, 2016 — Jeffrey Katzenberg, Chairman of DreamWorks New Media, will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 54th Annual International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) Publicists Awards Luncheon to be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 24, 2017.

Nanci Ryder, founding partner of B|W|R Public Relations, will receive the President's Award at the International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) Publicists Awards Luncheon to be held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on February 24, 2017.

Ryan Murphy, one of television's busiest and most successful writers/directors/producers, will be named Television Showman of the Year at the 54th Annual International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) Publicists Awards honoring excellence in publicity and promotion for motion pictures and television programs, to be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday, February 24.

The first ballot for the Publicist Awards were emailed on November 16, 2016. Please note that voting is being done online through Survey Monkey. Ballots are due on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 by 5:00 PM PT.

The International Cinematographers Guild Scholarship Fund is offering ten $4,000.00 educational grants for members, and children, step-children, grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and dependents of members where legal guardianship applies (collectively referred to as “Children“) of International Cinematographers Guild members in good standing, or Children of deceased members (whose passing was within one year of November 1, 2016).
