The International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) has announced nominees for the 53rd Annual ICG Publicists Awards Luncheon to be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday, February 26.

LOS ANGELES, Jan 12, 2016 — Open Road Films CEO Tom Ortenberg will be named Motion Picture Showman of the Year at the 53rd Annual International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) Publicists Awards honoring excellence in publicity and promotion for motion pictures and television programs, to be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday, February 26. Milton L. Keslow, co-founder of General Camera, a leading supplier of motion picture equipment for over 30 years, died on 12/29/2015. He was 80 years old.

The cinematographers of "Sicario," "Carol," "Bridge of Spies," "The Revenant" and "Mad Max: Fury Road" were nominated Wednesday morning for the 30th American Society of Cinematographers Awards for Outstanding Achievement.

The cinematography world lost a great talent today. Vilmos’ genius was not only in his images, but in his sense of duty to honest storytelling.

Murray Weissman, a well-regarded Hollywood publicist and awards consultant, died Monday of complications from pancreatic cancer at his Los Angeles home. He was 90.

Influential cinematographer and social documentarian Haskell Wexler, who won Oscars for his work in both arenas, has died. He was 93.
